Krka River Canyon Video
River Krka may flow just 73 kilometers, from Dinara mountain in Dalmatian hinterlands to Adriatic sea, but it flows in style once it finds its way out of Croatian royal city of Knin.
River Krka is carving its path through crljenica type of soil rich in iron, or terra rossa (Italian term), which is also very rocky countryside, and it crates a spectacular canyon featured in this video shot on locations that are not as often visited by tourists as those locations along the river that are featured in the tourist brochures.
Promina mountain (in the background) is 1,148 meters or 3,766 feet high.
