Park is a peninsula that features more than a dozen art sculptures, arboretum and marina – Port De Plaisance, at the very entrance into Lachine canal.

Bike path circles the entire park then exits and continues along the river towards the west deeper into Lachine but also follows the Lachine canal eastwards in it’s full length, 14 km or 8,7 miles, all the way to the Old Port Montreal.
Canal is in the Summer months the waterway for pleasure boats looking for a connection from Lake Saint-Louis around Lachine rapids to Old Port Montreal and downstream via St Lawrence river to Quebec city (photos) and all the way to the Atlantic ocean (discover).
