Merry Christmas Canada!
At this time of the year the snow blankets peaks of Rocky mountains where their sharp outlines are softened only by a dusting of white.
The lakes are already still, frozen, with patches of ice glistening under the pale sun mirror the snow-covered landscape.
Pine trees, heavy with snow, line the shores of the lakes. The air is crisp and only the snowman is not looking for warmth of a fireplace in a secluded log cabin. Silence is overwhelming and there is no sound other than one produced by the rustle of branches thrown around by howling wind disturbed only by occasional cracking of the ice.
