- The highest mountain in Tanzania and all of Africa is Kilimanjaro. The highest peak on Kilimanjaro is Uhuru Peak at 5,895 m. or 19,340 ft. high.
- The White Nile begins it’s journey in the Lake Victoria in Tanzania, then it flows through Uganda, South Sudan and in Sudan joins the Blue Nile to form Nile river that continues to Egypt where it enters the Mediterranean Sea.
