Last seven days of a 14 days and 3,796 km long Acadian Road Trip were split in between Nova Scotia, Bay of Fundy, drive through the southern part of New Brunswick and across the border into the State of Maine (USA), before coming full circle with the drive from Maine through New Hampshire back to Canada.

50 km (31 miles) or one hour long drive from Dartmouth to Peggy’s Cove

35 km (20 miles) or 30 minutes drive from Upper Sackville to Halifax
- Halifax Citadel (also known as Fort George) [+]
– first fort on the Citadel hill was build in 1749 and star shaped fort you can see today took its shape in 1856
– great museum in the fort, even better guides and well done historic re-enactments - Halifax waterfront [+]
- Titanic Grave Site [+] in Halifax

35 km (20 miles) or 30 minutes drive from Halifax back to Upper Sackville

Day 10 – Tuesday
270 km (170 miles) or 3 hours and 45 minutes long drive from Upper Sackville to Brier Island, Nova Scotia
– It takes two hours to drive first 200 km (125 miles), to Digby from Upper Sackville, and additional close to two hours from Digby to Brier Island, since the last 70 km (55 miles) include two short ferry crossings, and possibly patches of fog
- Afternoon of Whale watching in the Bay of Fundy [+]

70 km (43 miles) or one hour and 45 minutes long drive to Digby – both short ferry rides are free of charge on your way back to the mainland
- Overnight stay at charming town of Digby where from in the morning we’ll catch a ferry back to New Brunswick

Morning ferry crossing from Digby (NS) to Saint John (NB), 80 km (50 miles) or around 2 hours over the Bay of Fundy
